Froststem Suncups or just Suncups are onbe of the spring wildflowers in Death valley National Park and one of the flowers that features in a "superbloom" year. We found only a few of them, since the parks wildflowers were very sparse in 2018.

This is another of the wildflwoers we photographed in Warm Springs Canyon and one of the wildflowers that is part of what happens periodically in Death Valley under the right conditions when the valley is carpeted with wildflowers, a superbloom, as it is known.
