From our hike to the Park Butte Lookout southwest of Mount Baker in the North Cascades. There was no snow here at the beginning of the trail but we hiked through snow as we climbed.

The Park Butte trail beings near Schreiber's Meadows, a wet boggy area full of small ponds. With the early morning light and reflections and the autumn colors it was very beautiful when I hiked there.
