This is the previous photo with the buildings in the background cropped out. I think I like this better although the buildings in the other picture give a better sense of perspective.

The celtic cross and the first letters of "Patrick" can just be seen carved into the top of the stone. This is only one of several places where he is reputed to be buried.

St. Patrick Memorial Church in Saul, County Down, Northern Ireland, marks the place where St. Patrick is supposed to have begun his work as a missionary to the Irish, and the place where he later died.
