RHH's photos with the keyword: dam

On a recent trip to see our family members west of the Cascades we traveled by way of Highway 2 and Highway 20. The day was largely overcast but we did stop for some photos near Grand Coulee Dam. This was sunrise over Lake Roosevelt, the reservoir behind the dam. Grand Coulee Dam is one of the dams on the Columbia River.

On the Skagit River in North Cascades National Park. Construction began in 1921 and it is part of the Skagit River Hydroelectric Project, owned by Seattle Power and Light.
