These photos of Bighorn Sheep were taken near the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park but these animals can be seen in many areas of the park. The photos finish our tour of the upper loop. We've made the loop counterclockwise from the north entrance and back there again. The next part of the tour will begin at the west entrance and will follow the lower loop clockwise.

This is another of my wife's photos of the Bighorn lambs we saw in Jasper National Park last summer. The photo was taken on a rather quick trip through the park to Edmonton to see our children and grandchildren there.

These are Bighorn lambs photographed in Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada, in 2014. They were playing together, butting each other and chasing each other on the slope but stopped to watch us when we stopped to watch them. The photo was taken by my wife. The other photo is of a Mountain Goat kid, also photographed in Jasper.

These male Bighorn Sheep were photographed on the shore of Earthquake Lake near Yellowstone National Park. We did not see any of them in the park but were pleased to see them as we left the park. We had two of our grandchildren with us and they had never seen these animals before.

This male Bighorn Sheep was photographed in Jasper National Park. He was by the road when we first saw him but climbed the cliff and laid down at the top as we were watching him, looking like the king of all he surveyed.
