Skyline Rim or Moonscape Overlook is near Factory Butte. We watched the sunrise there and this was the butte from the overlook.

Moonscape Overlook is part of Skyline Rim, a canyon rim overlooking the moonscape-like valley some 500 feet below. Along the overlook is this point to which one can walk if daring enough. We were not but the girl in the photo was and stood on the point while her boyfriend took photos of her and the sunrise..

This was evening at Moonscape Overlook near Hanksville, Utah. We had found our way there over a very rough road and after getting lost, and car-camped there for the night in order to watch both sunset and sunrise.

Our first day in Utah, after visiting Goblin Valley we went on to Moonscape Overlook. We had difficulty finding the way and then had to drive a very rough road, but car-camped there that evening andd watched both sunset and sunrise, this the sunrise.

Moonscape Overlook or Skyline Rim is near Hanksville, Utah, and is well known for its amazing views of the desert landscape below and well-named. We were there one of the first mornings of our trip to Utah, Arizona, Nevada and California. We car-camped there and watched both the sunset and the sunrise, this photo taken in the evening and the inset the next morning.
