RHH's photos with the keyword: snohomish valley

Taken from the trail to Lake Serene, this shot looks up the valley from which we had hiked. In the morning the valley was filled with low clouds but as we hiked we came out into the sunshine above the clouds.

This was taken late in the afternoon while hiking out from Lake Serene and looks west down the Snohomish Valley. By the time we hiked out the clouds had cleared from the valley and view was amazing. The photo, in my opinion, does not really capture the beauty of the area, but does remind me of the fresh air, the smells, the breezes, the sunshine and everything else that makes hiking in the mountains such a joy. It is hard to describe, but anyone who loves the outdoors knows what I am talking about.
