RHH's photos with the keyword: columbia virgin's bower

This is one of our native Clematis, Clematis columbiana. We found this in eastern Washington in a forest understory where it grew as a sprawling, wandering vine. Also known as the Rock Clematis, its flowers are quite large, three to four inches.
