RHH's photos with the keyword: abietis

Photographed along the Park Butte trail, this is the Conifer Coral Fungus, Hericium abietis. This one has been touched with frost or is going by, or it would be pure white.

This was photographed on the Skyline Divide trail in the North Cascades, one of the few places I've seen this unusual fungus.
