RHH's photos with the keyword: meadow

Taken from one of the Meadows at Paradise in the National Park, this shows both the mountain and the amazing wildflower meadows. I have only a few more pictures to post from Rainier, so if you are tired of them, bear with me for just a bit.

Taken along one of the trails at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park, this shows the mountain as well as one of the wildflower meadows, in this case mostly Bistort, Lupine and Paintbrush. It is not very often in our hiking that we see such an abundance of wildflowers as we saw here.

In Explore August 10, 2009, #434. Photograph taken by my wife. Mount Adams is one of a chain of active volcanos in the Cascade Range. In Washington these volcanos are Mount Baker, Glacier Peak, Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens and Mount Adams.
