Common Butterwort (Pinguicula vulgaris)

In Explore July 25, 2009, #267. This is an insect eating plant which has sticky hairs on the leaves that trap and absorb insects. If viewed large, various insects can be seen in the clutch of these hairs in the folds of the leaves. These were growing in abundance in the Whitehorn Basin on the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park.
