Taken on the road into the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park, the photo shows some of the formations (not actually in the park) for which the area is famous.

I believe this formation is known as Ship Rock. It can be seen along the road into the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.

In 2015 when we were in Alaska we spent several days in Denali National Park. We camped at the Sanctuary River and took the bus to Wonder Lake, hiking back along the Park Road after visiting the lake, eventually catching the bus back to our campground. This was one of the ponds along the road.
