Partridgefoot (Luetkea pectinata)

Photographed on the Lillian Ridge Trail in Olympic National Park, Washington. The common name refers to the fancied resemblance between the flower with its stamens and the feathery foot of a partridge. The picture below is of the unopened flowers.
