We were in Michigan this past autumn and went several times to see the autumn colors. This was taken at North Ottawa Dunes County Park along Lake Michigan where we went for a walk with our son and daughter-in-law.

Another couple of phone photos, this one taken in upper Michigan near Grand Traverse Bay. We were on a wine tasting and cider tasting tour with our son and daughter-in-law on the Leelanau Peninsula at Suttons Bay Ciders when my wife took this with my phone.

When we went to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan we not only went for the scenery but also for the autumn colors, which, though not at their peak were still wonderful. This Red Maple was photographed near Log Slide Overlook in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

When in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan we enjoyed the autumn colors which are much more varied and beautiful than the colors here in Washington

I believe these are Beech leaves, photographed in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on a recent trip there for autumn color and scenery.

When in Michigan's Upper Peninsula recently we enjoyed the autumn colors even though they were not at their peak.

My wife has a new camera, a Panasonic FZ28 which we purchased for her after looking long and hard at all the options. She spent the afternoon out taking pictures instead of cooking supper (we don't mind), and this is one of the results. I'm sure they'll get even better.
