This was taken last Friday when we hiked up to Lake Serene in the mist. It was very difficult to get any time exposures under those conditions - this was the best I could do.

Can't quite make up my mind about this. Played around with it in PSE, something I don't usually do, and still am not sure about it. Suggestions appreciated.
In any case, this was taken on our hike up to Lake Serene on a misty gray day. These are the falls just below the lake, though it was still a steep two mile climb to the lake.

Last week Friday we hiked to Lake Serene at the foot of Mount Index in the area of Skykomish, Washington. These falls are on a popular side trail. There was a heavy mist and the falls were barely visible, but I went back later to get some better pictures. Though it was clearing when we hiked up to Lake Serene, there was still a lot of mist and we had to wait for opportunities to get pictures.
