On the second full day of our stay in Big Bend National Park, we followed the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive along the west side of the park, stopping and hiking at various places. This was one of those places, the Homer Wilson Ranch, a former sheep ranch. We hiked down into the valley and explored the abandoned buildings of the old ranch. The photo was taken out the window of the house in which Mr. Wilson once lived and up the wash that runs near the house to Ward Mountain.

This window is on the west side of the chapel where the altar stands.

Dunluce Castle is a ruin on the north coast of Northern Ireland (Ulster). The most recent parts of the castle date to the seventeenth century. This window is one of the best preserved parts of the castle and looks out to the west toward the town of Portrush. Waiting for Edward in the parking lot at the local Community College this car was parked next to us and the sad face of this poor dog just begged a photo.
