Goblin Valley State Park is in Utah and is named and known for its toadstool-like or goblin-like formations which fill the valley. This photo was taken near the parking area.

Goblin Valley is a state park in the Hanksville area of Utah (west of Moab). It was the first place we visited on our trip to Utah, Arizona and southern California. It is known for the thousands of weird formations that fill the valley, formations that often resemble toadstools or goblins. This part of the park is known as The Goblins' Lair. We spent a few hours there before heading on to other places.
