West Beach is part of Deception Pass State Park, the most popular park in the state. It lies on the north end of Whidbey Island and the south end of Fidalgo Island where the Deception Pass bridge crosses from one island to the other. The water is the Strait of San Juan de Fuca and the Islands in the distance are some of the San Juan Islands.
