This is an older photo that I've tweaked slightly and reposted. We have had almost nothing but rain here for weeks and need something bright and cheery. This, I think, fits the bill. It was taken at the time of the local tulip festival.

This photo was taken by my wife last spring during the Tulip Festival in the Skagit Valley of Northwest Washington.

If I am not mistaken, these color breaks are caused by a virus, but they produce some very unusual flowers. This was photographed at Roozengaaarde's Bulb Gardens in the Skagit Valley of northwest Washington at the time of the annual tulip festival.

We visited the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival for a while this morning - it was not the greatest day, but we came home with a lot of pictures.
