RHH's photos with the keyword: aeshna

This dragonfly, photographed at Bass River Recreation Area in western Michigan, is, I believe, a Canada Darner. If anyone knows better, I'd appreciate a correction.

I believe I have this identified correctly as the Sedge Darner, Aeshna juncea. It was photographed near Edmonton on an orchid-hunting excursion with a friend in a bog near the city.
