The only visitors we had while staying at Warm Springs Camp in Death Valley were birds, lizards and this Jackrabbit. The camp is abandoned and many miles up a rough dirt track that beyond Warm Springs was too rough for our vehicle and while we saw a couple of vehicles pass the camp no one elsestayed.

This Jackrabbit or American Desert Hare was photographed in Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge in Nevada. It is a common animal in the western USA and in Mexico.
