Another photo from the Lake Michigan Beach at Muskegon State Park. We'd been out looking for Snowy Owls and ended up at the park and walked the area back of the beach and along the channel.

This was taken in Muskegon State Park on the shores of Lake Michigan. I was there with brother Tim and another friend and walked out to the end of the channel that connects Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake.

This was taken near the previous photo. I have no idea what kind of tree this is but was charmed by the ice, the translucent seeds and the old leaf scars on the stem, all set off by a rather dull sky.
