This was our last campsite in Yosemite where we camped for one night sleeping in the car as we often do when traveling. We left the next morning for home. For those who are unacquainted with such campgrounds the box in front of the car is a bear box, a place to keep food and other items safe from bears who will break into cars or recreational vehicles for food and other scented items.

This was our home away from home for over two weeks while traveling to Alaska and touring there. The tent is our backpacking tent and we slept in it on the ferry and later in various campgrounds, here the campground in the Exit Glacier area of Kenai Fjords National Park. The water in the background is from Exit Glacier and becomes part of the Resurrection River.
