The Steam Plant was built in the early 1900's to produce steam heat for a number of buildings in central Spokane. Before being shut down in the early 1980's due to maintenance costs it produced steam for thirty-eight buildings. In the 1990's it was old an refurbished as a hotel, conference center and restaurant. This photo was taken with my phone when we were there for dinner with family members just before Christmas.

This is another night photo from our stroll along the riverwalk, downtown San Antonio, Texas, on our recent trip there. The lighted building on the right is the Hilton Palacio del Rio.
