Excuse the poor quality, but this building no longer exists in Sulphur Springs, so it is worth preserving an image. A very handsome building. The name of the church is worn off, unfortunately.

Yes, those are sweet potatoes, not chicken parts.
This image is heartbreaking now, but at the time it may have been thought to be funny or even nostalgic. My guess is that it was meant to be an ordinary view of rural life.

Yes, this is a postcard. It was stamped and delivered. Date and writing has worn off.
