The sign at the bottom: Klamath Basin Birding Trail. Klamath County is famous for only two things: Crater Lake and being on the flight path of numerous migratory bird species. Year-round species, such as bald eagles, also abound. Birding groups pass through a lot and camp in area parks. Oh, it's famous for a third thing: potato fields! No, they're not all in Idaho. ; )
