➽ HFF and a beautiful winter WE to all! ____________________ ➽ Schloss Hammel liegt im Landkreis Augsburg. Das Schloss ist im Besitz der ehemaligen Patrizierfamilie von Stetten. Das ursprüngliche Schloss wurde um 1550/60 gebaut und nach Zerstörung durch die Schweden 1648 neu errichtet. Zum Schloss führt eine alte Ahornallee direkt auf das quadratische Torhaus zu, über dem das Wappen der heutigen Besitzer angebracht ist. ____________________ ➽ Castle Hammel is located in the administrative district Augsburg. The castle is owned by the former patrician family "von Stetten". The original castle was built around 1550/60 and rebuilt in 1648 after the destruction by the Swedes. To the castle an old maple avenue leads directly to the square gatehouse, over which the coat of arms of today's owners is attached.
