➽ Die Getreidegasse befindet sich in der Altstadt und ist Salzburgs wohl berühmteste, historische Gasse. Sie beherbergt, unter anderem, das Geburtshaus von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (PiP 1) . Die hohen schmalen Häuserreihen mit zahlreichen schmiedeeisernen Zunftzeichen über den alten Verkaufsläden vermitteln, samt den vielgestaltigen Durchgangshäusern und Innenhöfen, ein in sich geschlossenes Bild einer mittelalterlich geprägten Straße, die auch an Regentagen gut besucht ist (eigene Anmerkung)! It houses, among others, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (PiP 1) . The tall, narrow rows of houses with numerous wrought iron guild signs over the old retail stores convey, together with the multifarious passage houses and courtyards, a self contained image of a medieval-themed street, which is well attended even on rainy days (own note)! ➽ For the members of TSC an example for a German pun! It doesn't work in English but I try to explain: The sewing machine is the symbol of a tailor, the other sign of a hairdresser and means "hair cutter"! In German "tailor" and "cutter" is one word: "Schneider"! So we have a "hair tailor", or so! ;-D

➽ Nasenschild der Gaststätte Zur Zill vor dem Neubau der Sparkasse Ulm. Die Zill blickt auf eine sehr bewegte Zeit zurück. 1851 wurde das Gebäude erbaut und ist schon deshalb ein besonderes Kulturdenkmal. Erst war dort eine Seifensiederei untergebracht, bevor 1877 erstmals eine Konzession für eine Gastwirtschaft erteilt wurde. _____________________ ➽ The Signboard of the restaurant Zur Zill in front of the new building of the Sparkasse (savings bank) Ulm. The Zill looks back on a very busy time. The building was constructed in 1851 and is already therefore a special cultural monument. First there was housed a soap factory, before in 1877 a concession for an inn has been issued. _____________________ ➽ The Sunday Challenge (TSC) - Perspective... if you see something you would normally shoot... go from a different angle or time of day or camera setting. Step a bit out of your comfort zone. To get this perspective, I had to stand on a chair... at the beer garden of the restaurant ... at lunchtime... fully staffed... really "a bit" out of my comfort zone! ;-D
