➽ Es war a bisserl wie Urlaub daheim - leckeres türkisches Essen, çay oder/und Raki gratis vom Wirt, türkische Musik und Unterhaltungen, der Verkehrslärm fast wie in Istanbul und ein Poster im Hinterhof mit Blick von der Ortaköy-Moschee über den Bosporus. Jetzt ist alles wieder geschlossen, die Tische zusammen geschoben, die Zukunft ungewiss... Ich drücke den Gastronomen und allen, die dieser neue Lockdown besonders trifft, die Daumen, dass sie auch diesmal durchhalten - und an alle: Bleibts xund und optimistisch! ____________________________ ➽ It was a bit like vacation at home - delicious Turkish food, çay or/and raki for free from the host, Turkish music and conversations, the traffic noise almost like in Istanbul and a poster in the back yard with a view of the Ortaköy Mosque over the Bosphorus. Now everything is closed again, the tables pushed together, the future uncertain ... I keep my fingers crossed for the restaurateurs and everyone who is particularly affected by this new lockdown that they will hold out again - and to everyone: Stay safe and optimistic!

Hine, over 20 years ago I found this variation on a flea market. A little URK for me this week, I caught a feverish cold and had also a lot of work, so that I almost missed the challenge. Early today I took quickly a shot of this poster, unfortunately the photo is soooo much failed - so I had to rework it "a bit"! (but see PiP - it's really on my wall!) (◕‿-)

The "Kasperle" (Punch) of the famous Augsburger Puppenkiste advertises for the Augsburg Brewery "Riegele". Their slogan is "...schönes Leben hier!" (...nice life here!) The background shows the "Rotes Tor" (Red Gate), an ancient city gate, near which is located the Puppenkiste where the Kasperle lives. This is not self made - it's a real advertising poster!
