Das auffällige Backsteingebäude an der Ecke Totendamm (Goethestraße) / Lobedanzgang wurde 1921/22 für eine Filiale der Reichsbank errichtet, in der DDR-Zeit von der Stadtbibliothek genutzt und beherbergt nun eine Arztpraxis.
