The night after i arrived in NZ it was a clear night ( nothing but heavy cloud since i was lucky) so i went out to Whatapu head on the west coast looking Due west . the very last of the milky way for this season is sitting just above the horizon. Nine Pin ( Light house)and Moon are the light sources for this shot. My lap top dies third day got it fixed only to have it fail again. so a new one coming this is stitched cropped but not edited. shot low tide with the tide rising. first shot of the night.
