Annuale incontro estivo con Ilda, scesa dalla Valle Antrona dov'era in vacanza. Questa volta con lei e suo marito Cosma c'era la nipotina Maria di 8 anni.Abbiamo visitato Orta e l'Isola di San Giulio, che io non avevo mai visto. Una meraviglia. Uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, Orta San Giulio è situato sul Lago d'Orta in provincia di Novara. Il centro storico, completamente pedonale, sorprende per le strette e pittoresche vie che spesso sfociano in punti panoramici. Proprio nel lago, di fronte a Orta San Giulio, sorge l'Isola di san Giulio: è talmente perfetta che sembra un quadro dipinto dalle sapienti mani di un pittore!
