A celebration of the season, be it Yule Tide, Christmas, Winter Solstice or however you honour this time of the year. There must me some hope that 2021 will be so much better than 2020. Enjoy a healthy and peaceful Christmas.

The Saturday Self challenge today is: Anything related to Christmas. Since it is also the Winter Solstice, if you don't celebrate Christmas, you may choose any topic relating to winter. This photo is taken through a clear red glass bauble on our tree. It was a grey morning. We look out to this oak tree, our front garden and a few houses from the living room.

The Saturday Self Challenge: 'Things we love about Christmas.' I love decorating our Christmas tree while listening to music. The lights and the baubles etc. brighten up the short days at this time. This week's challenge: 'Do something interesting with Light Bulbs'. Well - it is coming up for Christmas after all ........

The lights were changing colours in an uncoordinated way, and some of the combinations were amazing. I like the 'Aurora Borealis' one best, but Adrian chose this one as he is in it holding hands with James. ;-)
