I enjoyed last night's presentation VERY much. Quick query; given so much chopping of fallen euc/acacia and lately Exocarpus on my block, and not infrequent exposure of larvae, is it worth holding those pieces in a netted enclosure just for fun AND possibility of IDing what (if anything) emerges?

Am suddenly staggered at NOT having found Jewel Beetles on my block; suspect I have to open my eyes.
Going back to Yedulkinie and Hambidge (and possibly Bascombe Well) late July.
