Group rules

Here are the rules for Macro Mondays

1.
Macro Mondays means: it is about macros.
But not everyone has a macro lens that can show the finest and
smallest details.
Therefore, it is perfectly in order if you upload cutouts as contribution.
Go as nearest as possible to the object, that's the point.
The scale for the size of the object beeing displayed is as follows:
On 15x15 cm printout* the challenge object should look equal size or bigger than in reality.
*Approximately 6x6 inches.
The point of view, composition, aspect ratio and lens are free to choose.


2.
Every Monday or tuesday morning we will announce the topic for the coming
Monday (with date and theme).
Please note: If necessary, the topic is displayed in the
description in more details.
The description is therefore part of the topic.
It often contains informations which aspects of the topic are important to us.
Then everyone has a week to realize an idea on the subject.
Each week and theme only one photo is allowed.

2a.
Everyone knows this: sometimes one has no desire or time.
Therefore: it is, of course, no duty to set a picture to the topic every
Monday. It only should be fun.

2 b.
We ask you to upload your pictures only on Mondays.
Exceptions are of course okay if it has been agreed with us.
It is therefore possible that you also can still contribute your photo on
Sunday evening or on Tuesdays in the morning...
Everyone sometimes can be prevented on Mondays.
Allowed is only one photo each monday!
If someone here would upload two pictures
the last displayed photo will be deleted from the group.

2c.
Archival photographs: Yes why not.
There are so many pictures that are never seen.
Therefore it is gladly seen, if archives get their chance in this way.

3.
We are a group!
We would like you to deal with the pictures of the other members and
like to comment or even evaluate with asterisks!
The group Macro Mondays is not just a storage or collection point for
images, but it should be a living communication medium for all involved.
That's our wishing.
However, there is no obligation to comment as well as
an obligation to participate on every Monday.

3a.
Decisive for setting your own picture,
is your own local time and not the CET.

4.
The size of the group.
The number of members is limited to max. 50.
In this way, a clear group is to be created,
which makes communication within the group possible.
