Turquoise and orange ropes on the beach

A beautiful find and close-up, even if there is no blue. :-)

Well, the question remains: is turquoise a green or a blue tone? No-one sees blue and green the same, I see it more blue than green, other the inverse!

I am used to seeing more orange rope here, but you are right, people do see blues and greens differently. I know because I do! :-)

Love this Isabel.............great focus and depth of field and lovely vibrant colours. A superb PiP too.

I'm not going to get involved in an argument about colours, but that turquoise rope is definitely blue, or maybe green or possibly bluey green or even as Murray suggests, yellowish blue.

There.............that's much clearer isn't it?

Depends, the ones from fishing activities and marine are not the same as agricultural ones...

Interesting how differently we perceive colours- in the PiP I'd say the turquoise has more blue in it, the main photo I see as green verging on viridian;-)
