Were power goes is a mystery for us... but it spoils our environment that is for sure, as multiplied extentions of solar pannels surrounding us closer and closer.

In Dubai a few years ago I was sitting in a mall and saw a woman, covered from top to bottom passing. When she passed a very enlightened shop window I could see the fabric was very light and she was naked underneath. It was surreal… a while after she sat not far from me and I saw her shoes were Louboutin and her bag Hermès… Kind of “revenge” or compensation for the lack of freedom?

Your story sounds wild...and I'm sure you're right and she did it out of protest. And a clever protest it was. And why not? I think that's a good idea :-) Except that I can't afford designer shoes and bags!!

Neither can I... but we don't live in Dubai, do we? (Nevertheless.... what a terrible place to live! One of our girls worked there about 10 years, that is why I went there...but everyday's life was so expensive for my income...)

What a coincidence that you mentioned Dubai because last night there was a documentary on expats in the Emirates (including Dubai) on TV and I watched it. Pretty interesting, and I agree...I don't want to live there. Too built up, no nature and way too hot for me. But probably interesting to visit.

I think I was born in the wrong country, lol, a country that wants to save the whole planet but is going to ruin itself in the process.
