A beautiful flower, there must be enough moisture to trigger it into flowing, after hot dry weather the rain is just soaked up by the ground even here it will need a very wet winter before the reservoirs are full again, the last few days there has been a lot of rain

Merendera filifolia (Synonym of Colchicum filifolium) - deutsch: Fadenblättrige Herbstzeitlose ...
but the plant has the poison colchicine, which has similarities to arsenic.
Poisoning with the plant is not uncommon.
