the top one is a great photo in and of itself. and the lights, so incredible. thanks for multiple images - let's me remember how quickly the lights change.

i've been to norway, but never far enough north to see the lights. what a great thing for you to experience.

It was one of the purposes of the journey... we had temperatures as low as minus 22ºC, but this was amazing. Tomorrow and then next weekend I will show some more.

It is easy to photograph and when you go for it you prepair your camera with the right settings before going out, my exifs are available and I went on internet pages to read about this type of photography before.
The most difficult is the extreme cold...

Está explicada a viagem ao Pólo Norte...Deve ser uma experiência fantástica observar este espectáculo natural. Gosto de todas as fotos mas estou como o Marko, aquela linha vermelha ficou bem na foto. É o chamado traço da civilização...;)

Na série que vou postar no proximo fim de semana também há u s “traços de civilização” que ficaram giros. Tive medo que estragasse a foto mas felizmente não.
Aqui vivemos num calor importante metade do ano e relativo na outra metade, este céu azul mais de 300 e tal dias por ano acaba por ser monótono, mesmo se não considero viver mais a norte.
Por isso sinto necessidade de vez em quando de mau tempo extremo, nuvéns, nevoeiros e até chuva que dá uma cor particular às coisas, realça e faz viver as pedras (particularmente o granito). E frio extremo. Acho que a neve e as paisagens de gelo são as mais bonitas para fotografar, às vezes tenho pena de não ter nascido no círculo polar para ser adaptada a viver num clima tão... extremo. E onde é tudo tão belo e pouco estragado.
