Under rain and strong wind, almost impossible to take a decent picture...

The peaceful seafront village of Vik in the fertile Myrdal Valley is set along a dramatic stretch of coastline, quaintly poised between glacier topped mountains, rugged sea cliffs and black sand beaches.

Dramatic! We had a better day visiting that stretch of coastline - and a woolens shop in Vik that must have been well picked over prior to our visit, which was late in the tourist season. I much preferred the seacoast.
