Addressee was Miss Beula Smith, Bartonville, Ontario: "Beat DeWinton in the morning. Friday. Dear Beula - Was going to write you letter, but am out envelopes - Just leaving Taber - 2000 inhabitants, about like Crown Point, saw down coal mine. Next stop will be Man. (?) XXX Mama."
