Card by Novelty Manufacturing & Art Printing Co. of Montreal. Likely 1920s. Numbered 425 and 49024 in the stamp box. Unused. Showing the U.S. side of the locks so the reference to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario seems slightly misleading.

Postmarked Steelton (the Algoma Steel company town that is now just the west end of Sault Ste. Marie) on August 21, 1907, to Dumbarton, Ont. The message reads: "Ma is helping me. Steelton, Ont., Aug. 18, 1907 My Dear Cousin B. Excuse me for not writing before, but I have been busy looking for some flowers and will send you some later. How is Auntie and Gramma. We are well. Kisses for you. Love, Hilda." To Miss Beatrice ??, Dumbarton, Ont., Hill Crest.

The Canadian Locks during the Semi-Centennial Celebration, Aug. 2 and 3, 1905 - Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
Posted at the Sault, September 25, 1905 to Miss Pearl Menzies, 130 Jameson Avenue, Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, with the message: "My address is still "Soo" Ontario. Thought perhaps you had forgotten it. Maud." Credit to G. N. Bartlett is hard to see but is in the water at lower right.
