My first Newfoundland card. I thought these were very evocative images. The card is by the Newfoundland Pictorial Post Card Co. and is dated 1904. It is unused.

Ice Mountain - Niagara Falls.
Postmarked January 30, 1906 at Toronto, to C. E. Roubaud Esq., 25 Strand Road, Calcutta, India: "Many thanks. Have you ever been to Canada? This ice mountain is wonderful. It did not form this year owing to our very mild winter. You can see the water falling to right of picture (Miss) Bessie Brock." [presumably a postcard exchange]

Canadian Homestead Life - Returning from the Woods (103,041)
Very nice Homestead Life card, posted at Jordan Station, Ont. June 22, 1910 to Miss Bertha Hamdeman, 172 Riley Street, Buffalo, N. Y.: "Hello Bertha, I am at Jordon for two week wish you and the girls where here, and I am having a good time every body is well here. Ans. before the first of July (Howard)". The name "H. J. Overholt" is pencilled in beneath this.

Getting Ready for a Tramp
Valentine & Sons card 101,367 with this message written across the whole back: "Dear Little May, I hope you will have a happy Birthday and lots of good things guess I am rather early. I do hope you are better. Little Lidie must feal very proud of his 2 sisters. You must hurry up and get well it will soon be time to go to the seaside and make sand pies, kiss Lidie and Baby for me tell them Pat is coming to see them soon. Love and kisses, from Pat XXXXXX"

Ice Breaker, Osborne Bridge
This is what is known as Armstrongs Point, south west of the City. This is all frozen over now. Thermometer Reg[isters] 27 deg. of frost tonight. The Ice is about 18" thick; it will average 4 + 5 ft. You see the Cross on the picture. This is Miss Spence's house made fully modern this spring. We have done the painting. The picture shows the River fully 15 ft. above the ordinary level."
This message is across the entire back so there is no indicate of sender's or recipient's names. On the front is noted, "These Photos were printed in England".
No indication of the publisher. It is an undivided back card.
