High school's out... let the beach parties begin!... Teen spirit + exams over + summer starting = a beach bonfire at 2 AM Of note - the white blur of lights to the right is a lake freighter going by over the 10 second timed shot... and the red dots are the wind turbines. — at Belle River Beach.

Fish Fly Season - Belle River

Ah yes... fish fly season... the street lights were encircled in dancing clouds and the roads were greasy slick... This was just a small swam ...I avoided bright lights closer to the water. We drove out to the end of the pier and the car was a shimmering crawling mass of them! I just tell myself that they are "good" and a sign of a healthy environment.... and get out the snow shovel for clean-up. www.mynewwaterfronthome.com/fishflies.aspx
