The City of Helsinki-owned energy firm Helen has been shutting down operations at the Hanasaari coal-powered, district heating plant on the 1th of April 2023. The powerplant has been in use for 50 years. Estimates foresee the coal plant's shutdown will cut the city's emissions by up to 20 percent and cut national emissions by two percent. The Rokkiporkkana is a 44 m long orange-coloured steel truss bridge for cycling and pedestrian traffic located in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki. Rokkiporkkana = Rock carrot, rock in the meaning of "rock and roll", so "rocking carrot" might be the right translation ;)) 22H46 - Rock and roll SC49 - Bridge.
