Aalto chair 69

Chair 69 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935.

Chair 69 was originally designed for the Viipuri Municipal Library – besides designing the building itself, Alvar Aalto also designed the interior, lamps and furniture, including the Chair 69.

Great tribute to that chair! And makes me wonder the current condition of the Viipuri library... It was a very sad view in 1990s when I visited there.

But for me 'Google Arts & Culture' is even more amazing discovery! =O
