all the 'wood squill' photos i found (i don't know this flower and so was checking around) had a blossom that hung down - and then i found the 'siberian squill'!! again - what a great flower.

Wow ! This small blue flowers are blooming everywhere here too. But I never got a such a fine capture of it. So nice here the "frog's perspective". The back-lighting gives a wonderful glooming blue. I like this shot so much. Happy Easter, Wierd !

Mooi plaatje. Is het soms nietlastig om de kleuren van deze bloemen met deze Canon vast te leggen? Met mijn G12 merk ik dat-ie dat niet altijd 'goed' doet, zelfs als ik in RAW schiet.

Petals are the best backlighting subjects. And now I know what wood squill is.
