A mutant toy of my sons. They are so absurd that I just cannot throw them away, although the guy's left home some years ago. At first I wanted to upload another one, but reading the rules again I noticed that Wendy said firmly no landscapes, so I will put my personnal favourite picture in a clickeble note.
TSC: from the prop box

Being this week on holidays in the cottage with an extremely slow connection (to upload these pictures took about one hour) it will be difficult to comment, but I will try

.t.a.o.n., Don Sutherland, dsglass, Valfal and 9 other people have particularly liked this photo

I do like the lake setting of the inset photo, but the staging of this scene is very dramatic and I prefer the toy in monochrome. Quite an eerie image but it certainly captures the attention :-)

But where's the box? =P Only kidding ;-) But it would be interesting to see a box full of these great things your son have played with. I recall seeing at least these two heroes before on your shots.

By the way Wertti.... If you shoot something like your old shoes against the landscape, then which one is the prop? The shoes or the landscape? =D

I don't know about to use them as a bunch in a box, I made sometimes drawings of them in a situation of a battlefield after the battle, maybe I could do the same in a photograph. I like to put them in different situations, playing with them :D
You are right, the other one could have been used as the main picture, but it doesn't matter, the fun is the main thing.

real sense of the fallen soldier here, the mono muted tonal range and rain really make this work

lol Wierd... I have a barbie broke into all her bits I was going to use.. but I thought maybe some would find it disturbing... this is a funny looking guy!

I am fine with your other shot being the 'feature' shot.... the focal point is that mutant toy!

I like how the mono processing increases the texture and drama of the photo. The inset photo makes me giggle! Both are well done!

Is he a Masters Of The Universe toy? My little brother had some of these, too! Great shot!
