Аничков мост

The Anichkov bridge is the oldest brigde across the Fontanka River. During the siege of Leningrad the statues were removed from their platforms and buried in the nearby garden of the Anichkov Palace, thus surviving the heavy artillery fire that destroyed most of the bridge.
