I think the Google image was poignant in a very obvious way. In the Starbucks one I was personally amused by the juxtaposition of the consumerist culture and the classic facade of the building; the similarities between the imagery / differences between the meaning and intention of them? I'm interested in corporations and how they affect our life. Say, Google practically owns us already. And our main social networking happens through platforms that are controlled by corporations. This image then; the KFC logo is even by itself iconic, and in the sticker it is replaced by the Guy Fawkes mask which has now become, among other things, a well known symbol of the Anonymous movement. What the "wUK" means is beyoynd me though so I don't know what is the actual background of the sticker. I admit I was a bit baffled as to why you removed some of the images as I personally see them as equally interesting socio-political commentary as the photographs of random demonstrations are, but I can of course refrain from posting such stuff if it's not up to the standards or spirit of the group.

Oh and I see you also removed the image of the Loesje poster. :D You know Loesje? An international movement for free speech, slow living and making people think their life choices twice, et cetera. Feel that in fact I should ask you to elaborate on what you think counts as political? Because I'm starting to feel a bit confused and probably could do with the information, at least it would help me to figure out what the group is about and what kind of things to post.
